Unions
December 14, 2024
United we stand, divided we fall. - Patrick Henry, March 1799.
Unions exist in a multitude of ways. For most, the first union is family. Later, some join unions formed for various trades and careers. Some are even part of unions created for a singular purpose, such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Unions serve to represent and protect the interests of the members.
Individually, any given person has limited protection and influence. Without safety nets, job loss can lead to homelessness and starvation. This disproportionately affects the working class.
Business profit is a by-product of worker labor. Refusal to perform labor is how workers impact the ruling class. Without a union, these workers will simply be replaced. With a union, the ruling class is forced to negotiate.
When the ruling class refuses to negotiate or compromise with a union, the union can coordinate refusal to perform labor to negatively impact profits while protecting individual workers from retaliation. This is why the ruling class exerts significant energy to prevent, infiltrate, weaken, and destroy unions.
The United States government is a union with all US Citizens inherently a member. The ruling class know this, and spend considerable effort to dismantle it. Once the government is no longer for and by the people, the ruling class can regain the power and control they lost.
Our union needs reformation. The longer we delay, the more vital and dangerous this reformation becomes. Without reformation, our nation is doomed to fail. It is imperative we cast aside the conflicts created to sow division amongst the working class and reunite ourselves as Americans.
-

Collect dues for the benefit and protection of US citizens and their rights.
-
Coordinate rotating strikes to limit profit while maintaining social order.
Thank you.
