On August 2 1776, a foundational document was signed that established the United States of America and introduced a revolutionary form of government. Over the centuries and despite our differences, we have strived toward a common goal: to forge a better world for all.

Today, that noble ideal is faced with unprecedented threats. The vision of America we cherish has been eroded and is collapsing. Without sustained vigilance, our way of life and our culture will be lost like so many before.

Certain individuals use covert influence and illicit money to manipulate our system against us and in their favor. These individuals use our government as a method of self enrichment.

• Elders working beyond retirement age.
• Middle age citizens unable to afford housing and food.
• Children navigating a dismantled education system.

This is the reality of the United States of America today.

It is time to speak up and act. We, the citizens of the United States, must not remain passive as the essence of our nation is usurped. Feeling lost and disenfranchised is a sentiment I share with many of you.

While I do not claim to have all the solutions, I do propose a plan:

• Assemble a cabinet of intelligent and empathetic advisors to guide decision making.
• Work with current elected officials to implement policies that empower citizens.
• Engage with global leaders to forge and fortify alliances.
• Empower educators to form captivating learning experiences.
• Negotiate with industry leaders to establish an equitable and safe labor market.
• Listen to healthcare workers to design a universally beneficial healthcare system.
• Employ our military and intelligence agencies to safeguard our borders.
• Invest in scientific endeavors to improve our energy generation technologies.
